According to reports the Texas Rangers have aquired right handed pitcher Anthony Ranaudo from the Redsox for left hander Robbie Ross Jr. Ranaudo the 25 year old had an okay season with the Redsox in 2014 he had a 4.81 ERA with 3.4K , and 3.7BBs.
Ranaudo was better in the Minors in Triple and Double A he had 168 1/3 innings 2.67 ERA 7.1K, and 3.3 BBs. The Texas Rangers have a pretty good rotation consiting of Yu Darvish Derek Holland and Colby Lewis so having Ranaudo in the mix could be a good thing.
Ross the 25 year old struggled this year because of injuries he pitched 127 1/3 innings with a 2.62 ERA.
