The Yankees got their first win last night against the Toronto Blue Jays. Following the opening day loss they didn't want to lose two in a row so the Yankees rallied in the eighth to beat the Yankees 4-3, after Chase Headly's RBI single that gave them the lead.
The Yankees trailed 3-1 then Chris Young got a hit in right field to spark the rally. Jacoby Ellsbury added a single and finished with two hits and two runs. Yankee pitcher Michael Pineda went six innings and six strikeouts.
To get the rally going Ellsbury got a hit to center then Toronto pitcher Aaron Loup hit Bret Gardner then threw a wild pitch by Brett Cecil which scored young.
Cecil then struck out Carlos Beltran then Brian Mccann to bring the tying run in Ellsbury, then Headly got a base hit to score Gardner to give the Yankees the 4-3 lead and win.
