According to mlbtraderumors.com Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish will undergo Tommy John Surgery next week. The Ranagers announced that Dr. James Andrews will perfom the surgery in Florida and Darvish will miss the entire 2015 season.
Now the question Rangers fans will be asking is who can replace Darvish? GM John Daniels has already said they are looking at a replacement to fit in. They could make a push for Cole Hamels but its not clear that the Phillies are willing to trade Hamels anymore.
Darvish is a great pitcher for the Rangers and will be hard to replace his domminance. Darvish has a 2.92 ERA with 11.7K and 3.3 walks in 354 innings. Darvish who is only 28 has proven that he has one of the most dominant arms in the league coming in second in the 2013 AL Cy Young Award.
